Code, music, words and connection.

I'm Frederik Schoof. I live in Berlin, where I bring ideas to life. Creating things has always been my passion - I wrote my first stories and poems when I was about seven, shortly after the first time I fell in love. At nine I started playing the guitar, which led me to composing and producing music - a hobby I still pursue today.

At school, my heart was in maths, philosophy and the humanities. To be honest, back then coding seemed like digital witchcraft I thought I'd never wrap my head around...

After studying philosophy and cultural studies in Bremen, visiting a monastery and exploring consciousness in my spare time, as well as hanging out with my programmer friends Denis and Thorben, I began to see software as deeply similar to human intellect and identity: patterns, logic, loops, and problem-solving.

I've always carried a vision of creating something that playfully invites people to unlock and transcend their conditioned ways of thinking - and open into a more conscious state of being. Once I understood the parallels, it clicked: Programming was the tool to make that vision tangible.

So I quit my studies and dove into the world of coding. It was more of a jump into ice cold water than a graceful dive, but I've never regretted it. I spent three years teaching myself web development. Since then, I have worked as a freelance developer and later joined a Berlin startup in Nov 2022.

Today, through my studio Synesthesigns, I craft unique websites - with feeling and technical precision. I'm especially interested in digital spaces where form and meaning align - where typography has a voice, color has a taste, and the small details turn attention into understanding.

If you're looking for someone who bridges technical logic and human experience, let's connect.

Thank you for listening. <3
